I too have seen this miscredited, on Napster, and of course I downloaded it and was bummed, though it is a cool song. Shakatak, maybe? They had a similar sounding vocalist for a while. Or, I found a song by that title done by a PWL side project called Mondo Kane, but I can't find a sample of the song to hear and confirm. It came out in '86 and a couple websites called it a samba, and Georgie Fame had something to do with it. All those indicators point to a Matt Bianco ripoff, but I dunno... In any case, sounded like whoever uploaded this intercut the record with Half A Minute, which was cool but weird to hear sampled. - --Leslie New DSL Internet Access from SBC & Yahoo! http://sbc.yahoo.com ------------------------------ End of basia-digest V7 #97 **************************
