I have subscribed to this list like a week ago and I was wandering wether somebody is still writting anything here. I have found this page not so long ago. I have been Basia fan for many years, probably when I started to listen to her I was her youngest fan. I think I would have been very appy to know this page few years ago. But I didn't know how to use internet. It's a shame, I know but I learnt to use it only 2 years ago To answer Juan's question as far as I know Basia is 48. I don't have any problems with pronouncing her name and even surname as I'm Polish. Regards from Poland(home, sweet home, I arrived yesterday after long and absurdal Summer that I've spent in Portugal). I've been on this list for almost 3 years. The members have pretty much exhausted all the ways to announce with great fanfare that nothing is happening with Basia, so it's usually fairly quiet. Basia has reportedly been working on an album for a long time, but so far there's been no official word. Some of us wrote to her people some months ago but I don't believe anyone heard back. So it's just been stagnant. But the list is always here in the unlikely event something does happen. :-) Sean ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 30 Sep 2002 18:52:25 EDT From: Mithors@aol.com Subject: Re: basia-digest V7 #94 Dude, Ya, my windows media player is not able to establish a connection to your audio clip, any sugestions on what I can do to correct this? ~Jose ------------------------------ End of basia-digest V7 #95 **************************
