Hi everybody, I have a question about European / Polish Basia releases. I'm recording a local bands next CD. The bass player tells me Randy the bassist - "I won't be able to track in the next four weeks because I am going to Poland." Tom the recordist - "bing" "Poland? What are going to do in Poland?" Randy the bassist - "i am going on an archeological dig" There is a really good joke in here somewhere but i am not sure what it is. Anyway, do any of you collectors out there know if there are such items? Are there Polish releases? I know US, Euro, Japanese off the top of my head but what about Poland? Randy the bassist will take time to go to Polish record stores and what might he find there under the Basia name Hmmmmm. Help me, he leaves Thursday Tom PS buy the new MB CD! ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 22 Jul 2002 18:59:21 EDT From: JPovlock@aol.com Subject: Re: Poland releases? The really good joke about the archeological dig is that the locals (Polish) were uncovering lots of bodies - in a cemetary. Hey, I'm Polish, I can tell these jokes!! You might have him look for Alibabki - I think that's the correct spelling for Basia's early group. Weren't they originally in Poland - or did they get together in Chicago? un abrazo, juan At 05:52 PM 7/22/02 -0500, you wrote: > >Hi everybody, >I have a question about European / Polish Basia releases.
