To my dear fellow Basia fans, (Even if you'll hate me for this...) Peace Be With You! Foremost, I fervently hope that you and your loved ones are okay. Whether directly or indirectly affected by last Tuesdays tragedy, my prayers are with you. Secondly, my apologies for an off-topic message. I know that your eyes are willing but tired, with all there are to be seen and read about the recent and most tragic event in U.S. history to date, reminiscent of the apolcalyptic movies that became rampant at the turn of the new millennium. No, you are not going to read another message of outrage against who perpetuated the attacks which resulted to loss of thousands of lives. But the Lord Almighty God through the Holy Spirit is working upon me to share with you words that may just lead you back to His great plan for us, that is, to be with Him in His Kingdom while we are still alive and have the opportunity here on earth to work on it. Sad but true, it is only when we are in dire need do we remember God, the Supreme Creator of all. I am least surprised to receive messages pertaining to The Father and how we encourage each other to pray in times like this. Are we really reminded that God is also there waiting for us to pray even when alls well? Do we really need tragedies of such magnitude to happen in order for us to be reminded about Him? This may sound radical, but let me ask you what did you initially feel when you heard the news last Tuesday? Was it fear? anger? sorrow? Have you asked yourself why you felt that way? Have you really come to love your life so much that it is hard for you to die an untimely death? Did you even feel a sense of unpreparedness if last Tuesday was indeed The Second Coming of Christ? You may take this as another fanatical extremist point of view, but really now, how well do you know GOD who created you and who is absolutely in control of all the things around you, both seen and unseen? Please, before you hit that button to spare yourself of The Truth (for the nth time!), consider answering this question: IF YOU DIE TODAY, WHERE DO YOU THINK YOURE HEADED NEXT? I hope you are still with me. Please be reminded that I, too, am human who can also feel like you. Right now, I already feel abandoned by your thought (alone) of discontinuing to read this piece of e-mail that I wrote with YOU in mind. Why do you even think that I am asking such question in bold letters? I do not doubt that you believe in Our Great Father GOD, but are you aware that intellectual, emotional and even spiritual acknowledgement of Him is not enough to claim that we know Him, much more, love Him? I learned that in order to get that conviction that one really loves Him, he / she should submit himself / herself to total obedience to His commands which will save us. This is all made possible through the grace of His Word in The Scriptures and of course, through His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, whom He had paid for as a ransom for the sins that enlave us to this day. There is so much to discover about Our Eternal Father. I am in complete bliss as I share this joy with you! When I ask awhile back how well you know Him, I really wanted to know how you got to know Him. Is it through studying The Bible or only through some life-taught experience which made us assume things without any concrete foundation? Without triggering sarcasm, I ask, how humble have we been before Our Perfect Father? Or better yet, I ask, how humble have YOU been before GOD, The Master of Creation? Hey, I do not need to know the answer for myself. HE already knows. My friends, its high time that we open up our Bibles to receive the Good News of our salvation before its too late. I plead that you do read, believe and REPENT. Many are called but few are chosen, its true. If you choose to remain indifferent to this call to change for the glory of God who gave you life, just spare me of the blame if one day you will be put to shame when that day comes. For it is written, To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, He will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking and who reject The Truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. (Romans 2:7-8) The first Good News I wanna share is that it is NOT yet too late. Dont even think of letting God wait any longer. If you do, HOW DARE YOU LET HIM WAIT BECAUSE OF YOUR SINFUL PRIDE!!! You know very well that this is for YOU and your own welfare FOR ETERNITY! Is that hard to comprehend? So be wise enough to be alarmed and take action! Wherever you are in the globe, there are many fellow disciples of Christ out there http://icoc.org/html/directoryset.html willing to help you go through The Scriptures, step by step, so that you may have inheritance in heaven, as Jesus is preparing for it. Amen.
