I just heard a woman singing at the Kansas City blues and jazz festival and she was great. Her name is Angela Hagenbach (sp). 2.5 octave range, she can get down super frigin low and she has killer intonation. Which made me think of how large Basia's pitch range is. The quote I read somewhere was, "A range like a Howitzer" which is a large bullistic cannon. So that is how i came up with this stupid idea to go back and listen to all the songs (again!) turn it into a game you all could play. It called "Basia Mundo". There are no rules. We are just trying to confirm that she does have a range like a Howitzer. We need to answer a few questions. 1) Highest vocal pitch heard on any Basia recording 2) Lowest vocal pitch heard on any Basia recording To answer these questions should require (this sounds like a rule) the song name and the track's time location so that we all can agree that it is either the highest or the lowest note. this might take awhile, maybe not. I don't know. did i mention i eloped and went to Acapulco for my honeymoon?
