That would be me an "esk1276 crowd person". the coolest items I have come across in the past few months are. 1)Epic generic looking faded blue cover 45's ,3 of them Promises, T&T and New day they are demo disks from a radio station with DJ comments written on them. 2)Brave new hope on cassette ET48644. 3) A 3inch Cruising for bruising/come to heaven Japanese ESDA7026. The package sort of folds up so you can carry basia in your pocket. 4)London warsaw.... tour poster with detachable bottom. If anybody has interest in owning one of these ithink i paided 7.00$US at a used record store in Kansas City. I don't remember the name of the store but i could find out and let you all know. they had about 6 of them in late july and I don't think they are selling like "Hots cakes". Congrats to Larry Lipman on whatever it was that happened to you a while back! he is a pretty famous guy, you all know that, right. Good bye Leslie.... and Dirks Pilat's Matt Bianco web site. You have beers with those guys?, how totally f*cking cool. If I fly over to England someday could i buy you lads a few pints? scoff a few? If basia's new CD does not pan out soon I might bore you all with my bands new demo cd that might be out as soon as the first of the year. We might be called "Masters of indecision" not sure about that but I am producing/engineering and playing some of the strings on it. We have about 14 songs about half done. This is nothing like basia music. It's sort of pop rock, we tell stories. My big contribution is a song called "WANTED IN TENNESSE" about a 21st century bootlegger who is not to bright. Lastly, a wonderful artist Karrin Allyson 1999 release on Concord records "From Paris to Rio" CCD4865-2 has killer versions of samba classics like; O pato (the duck) Useless Landscape O Barquinho (My little Boat) Samba Saravah coracao Vagabundo and plenty more.....if you samba, look for this one.. Hi Basia! if you are out there..not Tom N. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 19 Oct 2000 18:36:22 EDT From: JPovlock@aol.com Subject: (no subject) Someone on the list is a big Boz Scaggs fan.
