However, I would expect that most members in our little gang of die-hards should already have all of the material from such a CD, unless some previously unreleased music is included. I'll be interested to see what develops... Jim __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! I don't see how this could differ much from the US/Japan release "Clear Horizon" that arrived in late 1998. It was a greatest hits disc with a few extra tracks, but I don't know if it got a European release. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 7 Oct 2000 11:36:36 -0700 (PDT) From: Jim Clary Subject: Re: A new greatest hits collection ?. - --- Diana Knight wrote: > > I'm hoping for at least a couple of new cuts!! > PLEASE Basia - we want more > more more!! From what I've been hearing and reading via this ML, I think that a CD of new material is awaiting release. When Peter White says that a new CD is complete, or very nearly so, I'm inclined to believe him. It's just a matter of time... time... time... Heck, the CD might be in the stores right now, but nobody's spotted it yet :P Jim __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! You know I was saying earlier about the 808 State tunes with Bjork vocals ... how maybe Basia could do something like that with an electronic or electro-jazz outfit ... Now after listening to a little more of Bjork (never paid attention to) ... I realize they have some similarity in their styles! So I would like to know, has Basia ever worked with Bjork? They would seem to be compatible vocally... would make a good counterpoint to each other. I think this would be an awesome collaboration... the two of them on one song! Wouldn't that be incredibly cool? : ) What do you think? ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 7 Oct 2000 14:33:53 -0500 From: "Diana Knight" Subject: Re: A new greatest hits collection ?. And you folks who assume it will be easy to get worldwide weren't around for the 1995-96 listwide raging, raving panic. We in the US knew "Waters of March" had been released in Japan but were unable to get it. CD Banzi claimed to have ordered it for me - promised delivery in 2-3 months, but it never arrived.
