Bjork is amazing, always. I could imagine Basia adding vocals to some material, maybe Massive Attack. There's all sorts of ways in which Basia could utilize her talents. (Can you say, "The Smiths"?) It's time music was freed of the assumed obligation to present a "melody" and a heavy layer of egocentric lyrics ... 808 state shows what can happen when those cloying constraints are let go. Just let us dig the *sounds*, you know! And Bjork, does not seem to be really verbal... just cave-woman talk. Yet everyone understands it. Massive Attack, not familiar, have to check that out. ------------------------------ End of basia-digest V5 #104 ***************************
