While flipping through it, I found a review of Lara Fabian's CD. I saw her last week on the Tonight Show and I thought she sounded really good. So, while reading the review I stumbled across this... "Her approach, however, is generally unaffected, with an easy lilt reminiscent of another European-born singer, Basia....Like Basia and (Celine) Dion, Fabian's English is flavored with a mild accent. If she mutes the overwrought style ad finds better material, it will only charm." Not a major mention, but I was happy none-the-less. Paul - ---- "You like to listen to your music loud. I understand. Lara screams, Basia sings. Here, "Les Guignols" ( puppets like "Spitting Images" in England) imitate Lara as a mad girl with exorbited eyes. Lara is ambitious, imbued and wants to be famous as Celine Dion. Come on Lara, get back in France in your asylum. Please Basia, go out from your studio. Songs are detailed enough.
