Yeah- me too. Unfortunately this goes back to that
interview where she talks about being bombarded with
Diane Warren songs and rejecting them all. The way she
put it, it was a compromise with the record co. to go
with an outside producer.  Sucks.

I like 'im. 

BUT. Keith Thomas had a varied roster of artists, but
for some reason the fact that he had a big hand in the
Amy Grant recurring nightmare I had in the early
nineties, in the form of "Baby Baby" (and I mean this
with the utmost respect to all Amy Grant fans on the
list, I admit it's a personal problem)  It was some of
his best known work I guess.

Translation: If she basically goes for the pop
formula, like a lot of these people listed have on
occasion been known to do, and by that I mean the
homogenized adult-contemporary sticky-sweet stuff (AKA
:"dreck", no I didn't invent the term!), I'm gonna be
pissed. 

Hopefully any theoretical outside producer would
retain and respect the things that make Basia, Basia-
but if she gets sucked into making tepid crap, well,
that would ruin my day.
