Then Raburabu Joe-kun suggested: >Maybe if >we were able to put a signature on the end of every e-mail that passes >through the Basia list, like some other lists that I belong to, that tells >how to unsubcribe from the mailing list and the daily newsletter, maybe that >would help this annoying mails. One would think so, but it doesn't seem to work too well for other lists I belong to. Someone will say please unsubscribe me, and then a dozen other people will post, telling that person to read the instructions, then another half-dozen people will complain about how stupid that person was, and so on. It's kinda like people who want to reply to a thread just to say something like "Me, too," and then they leave the previous person's 50,000 word post tacked onto the end, when it would just take like two seconds to cut that stuff out. Really annoying. Especially when that person is using the digest version and their reply includes the whole freakin' digest! Anyway, I think RSOSADDS must have just been playing a joke on us. I mean, come on, like it's possible to stop liking basia? - -Brian* ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 27 Jan 2000 12:28:20 EST From: RSOSADDS@aol.com Subject: Re: Run For Cover i dont like basia fans.......................................................................... ............... ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 27 Jan 2000 18:02:41 -0500 From: "jjpalcher" Subject: Re: Run For Cover Could you say anything more hurtful that could wound us? Ha ha ha, what a pathetic waste of bitage in my Inbox, but didn't even nick a dent in my pride. Are there any plans for Basia to tour again? I saw her in 1994 and it was very impressive. The person who was the seller... his name REALLY is Matt Bianco!!! Was really kind of weird writing a check to this man.... and he did know about the group, so I directed him to our Basia websites so we'll see. Has anyone noticed this? Or has this already been discussed before? :) They sound very similar, almost like the instrumental "Matt's Mood" is the karaoke version of "Run For Cover."" - ---------------------------------- Hi, Same drum machine beat. Lub Dub, Lub Dub, Lub Dub, Kick Drum, Sort of like a heart beat. And ya know some of the best bossa nova songs do the same thing. "Mas que nada" (sp) by Brazil 66 and the song "Seaside weekend" by Isabel Antenna (newer), "Berimbau" by Astrud, It maybe the ultimate beat. It is one type silk that Basia uses in her music loom. Lub Dub. Tom ------------------------------ End of basia-digest V5 #13 **************************
