This strange tune is part of a recent holiday addition to a great oldies web site named "Marybeth's Memorable Melodies". This site is packed with downloadable oldies in RealAudio (*.ra, *.ram) format. Site contains *hundreds* of songs from the 50's, 60's and 70's, as well as the aforementioned Christmas songs. Many of these tunes are very hard to find. Ironically, "Misty" by Johnie Mathis is located on the site... The site address is http://www.rockinwoman.com/ . To locate the Weird Al tune (a must-hear IMHO) click on the link above, and when on the home page, click "Holiday Music" for the new holiday submenu. Wait until the snowy scene downloads; it is beautiful. Then scroll on down and click on the "Christmas Novelty Songs" link to access the Weird Al tune, among some other oddities. I don't know Marybeth, but I'd certainly like to meet her. I give her an A+ for this excellent web site. She must have worked for weeks organizing and posting all of this music. And there are NO advertisements! Jim Clary ------------------------------ End of basia-digest V4 #246 ***************************
