["David Higginson" ] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: Tue, 7 Dec 1999 23:49:48 -0000 From: "David Higginson" Subject: A Basia day. HI all, It is a little quiet on this list lately. Today I picked up a Time and Tide CD from a second hand stall in Birmingham markets for £2.00 ($3.50). I bought T&T some years ago on a Sony/CBS CD which did not have much of an insert with info etc. on it. In fact it is just a track list with a picture of Basia in an elegant pose. The one I bought today is on the Portrait label PRT 450469 2. It has a slightly better insert with two B&W photos of Basia with short hair and a full set of acknowledgments. Tracks are the same although this CD does not list Forgive and Forget as a Bonus Track. Can someone help me on a few questions. 1 Is it an import, as it is made in Austria. 2 What does "MOIM LUDZIOM WKRAJU" translate as. 3 Is my original CD a reissue of this one. Also as a point of interest there is a little ps on the insert : "BASIA TRZETRZELWSKA IS PRONOUNCED BASHA TSHETSHELEVSKA". Then when I get home from work I find that I have eventually received Basia on Broadway which I ordered back in August !!! A Basia Day indeed. Regards, Dave Higginson. ------------------------------ End of basia-digest V4 #244 ***************************
