So what! At least it hasn't been 20 years since her last one, unlike Steely Dan. Their website says that Donald and Walter are releasing a new studio CD early in 2000 - YES!! However, if Ms. T. decides to wait another 15 years, she'll probably be doing songs such as "Perfect Grandmother". I know it will be perfect though, don and walt being perfectionists and all. d DB Young Team OS/2 - --> this message printed on recycled disk space view the computers of yesteryear at http://members.aol.com/suprdave/classiccmp/museum.htm (now accepting donations!) ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 27 Oct 1999 20:42:17 -0400 (EDT) From: mpw98@webtv.net (Paul Wollmann) Subject: Re: (no subject) When Basia releases new material its worth the wait dont you think? She even admits she is slow in between cd's......its ok with me as long as she keeps making them! I have noticed that many artists release one or more CDs each year, but each CD they release contains only a few high quality tracks, with the remaining tracks (say 50%) being mediocre "filler". CD's released by Basia and her group tend to be high quality, with great music from start to finish. This woman obviously takes a great deal of care and pride in all of her work, and refuses to release music prematurely just to keep her name on the wire. This makes her CD's well worth the wait, IMHO. PS- I expect that the new SD CD will be outstanding as well.
