Benn, I'm sorry I took so long to get back to you. Regarding your question, I DO like Willow best of all the cast of Buffy, mainly because I admire her intelligence. So seldom seen in a woman on TV even now. As to being your long lost brother......well maybe the name might have confused you but I think maybe we are talking long lost SISTER he **laughs**. Over here Jan is a girls name too!! Short for Janine. Everybody, Now.........Basia stuff. OK people. There's a CD single for sale on Ebay. It's being sold by a Brit so shouldn't cost too much for shipping, but I'm financially embarassed right now and don't want to bid for it unless I'm absolutely sure it's what I want. Here's the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=182236810 Can you guys please check out this auction and let me know if the 'radio edit' of TTL is the one that a lot of us have in mp3 version, you know, the one that's known as the 'new version' where it starts out with a piano and then Basia sings along to a fairly hefty drum beat........????? I only have this on mp3 and DESPERATELY want a CD version so I can play it in my car on the way to work. I tried Banzai and CD Europe, but both orders came back weeks later 'no longer available'. Right now I am playing 'Masquerade' over and over in the car. Can't seem to discern any noticable difference between the 'Brave New Hope' version and 'Remixes 2'. Don't have Remixes 1 yet. I ought to head on over to the web site and get a track listing I guess....... Anyway, can someone please enlighten me. Am I tone deaf? Are these versions of Masquerade essentially the same? Is there another version on Remixes 1?? Ok finally. I mentioned before the 'financial embarassment'. For various reasons it's getting kinda hard to pay the mortgage these days. I'm gonna have to sell some of my Basia collection. Beginning with the Neil Simon Theatre Playbill. Don't want to. Bev I know already has one. I intend to put it up on Ebay at some point in the future (like once my account is back in credit), but I'd rather let someone on the list buy it. You know where to reach me by email guys...... Bye for now!!!! Jan >- ----- Oorspronkelijk bericht ----- >Date: Tue, 21 Sep 1999 00:49:16 +0200 >From: "Ben van Maaren" >Subject: Re: Weekend treat ... Jan, I don't know if it is the same but I would Email the seller to see if she has any feedback. I notice that it still has 0 bids after 4 days. Priced in $US, $2.99 current bid for the CD, $3.00 shipping sounds cheap to me. PS----Do you know if anyone has a site with that TTL.mp3?? Or could anyone Email it? Jan: Don't bother bidding on this-- the "Radio Edit" is exactly that.. a shorter version of the album track. The only legitimate source for the track you're looking for is the UK/Euro CD single for "Drunk On Love" (where the track is titled "Third Time Lucky [New Version]"), Epic catalog # 661158 2. Please drop me a line privately, and we can discuss your search. - -Kevin soundman@inetarena.com Jan Johnson wrote: > > Now.........Basia stuff. OK people.
