The most important thing is that we all are faithful in Basia. But we aren't blind anyway. We're more exacting for people we admire. Richard Desjardin, a canadian singer has song called "Quand j'aime une fois, j'aime pour toujours" (When I love once, I love forever). I think that the better we have to do before judging is waiting for the album. But you've definately given me a thought of > what Basia would > look like and what she would be singing in Yoyogi > park there. :) LOL! I hope I got the terminology right- I meant I just could totally see Basia doing some retro '60s thing (a la Pizzicato Five or Fanatastic Plastic Machine) since a lot of the same sources are the inspiration for both (the 'new' FPM disc is full of bossa novas!) but then Basia always really updated the old stuff, while the crazy Japanese stuff mostly rehashes it, to me. Dude, when you asked me what wig she'd wear, I thought of the picture on the insude of P5's "Playboy & Playgirl" where Maki is in the bathtub looking like an Austin Powers extra in a British flag dress, while Mr. konishi is sitting on the crapper. Way to make Danny look *really* mad! - --Leslie (it's nothing smoked, it must be the paint fumes all over my house today- sorry! ^_^) __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? LOL! I end up buying imports with someone else to split the cost- eeek! I'm seriously considering waiting for the chance to buy the full-length album- I really liked the other track on the album page. Or maybe someone can just make an MP3 of "So Nice".... *pinky to corner of mouth in the style of Dr. Evil* - --Leslie (I especially like how she went for such a departure- shows an adventurous musical spirit :) ) __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
