Did you know that the women singers with Sergio could not speak Portuguese ? I would love to hear a Basia cover of Mas Que Nada or Sergio's version of Night and Day. Although it would be hard to improve on Mas que Nada , it would still be great to hear Basia sing it. - -----Original Message----- From: JPovlock@aol.com To: basia@smoe.org Date: Wednesday, June 23, 1999 7:22 PM Subject: Sergio Mendes and Brazil 66 > > you know everyone i've been holding this in for an eon but i really think >Brazil 66 is a real fore runner to the Basia sound....Sergio Mendez & Brazil >66.... does anyone remember the "Fool on the Hill" cover etc.?
