Being from Denmark (The land in which LEGO was invented, and where the "real" LEGOLAND is) I must say that I'm surprised to learn from the Basia-mailinglist that there is actually a LEGOLAND in the States as well? It seems that while waiting around for news about our favourite artist you can pick up important information! Troels. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 21 Jul 1999 09:04:11 CDT From: "Meg Evans" Subject: Basia at Legoland Howdy, Ashoke boasts: >Hey, I had the ENTIRE lego train set - all 34 boxes worth of it. The thing >would take up the living room floor and spill into my room! Unfortunately, >other mundane things such as clothing took priority over 34 boxes of lego >when it came to transatlantic flights. :-( I'm jealous! I want -- I mean, Kinnin wants -- Lego trains, too. Jeff Abrams' signature quips: >The face of a child can say it all, especially the mouth part of the face. That is hysterical! (Although, it really is off-topic.) ;) Anyway, my son's mouth part is active much of the time. But I think he learned that from me. I wish Basia's mouth part would activate on a world tour some time soon How about this: let's rally to get Basia to play Legoland, either U.S. or Denmark. Then we can go play with giant Legos, listen to Basia, come back home and write to The List about how we heard Basia at a children's amusement park! Then everyone is happy. Anytime I hear a Basia tune other than on my own is a treat because it tells me, hey ... I am not alone in my fascination with her music. One time a friend of mine heard her music while we were, ... "in a retail store ...," and commented to ME if I knew who that was. Of course I was happy to oblige. Sometimes this list is quiet and there is not much going on, soooo 'another Basia moment' is good fodder to get the list active again. Just food for thought. Hey Ashoke, how u doin? Imagine the promotion! (the other day I went to Target and guessed on the Yoda they're giving away, which is where this comes from. Not momentary insanity ) - --Leslie (finding the new Jamiroqui CD a bit annoying, it's playing while I'm at work. Bummer) _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Good call, Richard! - --Leslie, counting on the alleged new album to be played in record joints everywhere- yes, I predict it will be that good-LOL!
