(US spelling, I don't know Spanish one) Meg suggested: > >>If you could ask Basia one question, what would you ask. > > > >"Would you like to dance?" > > Now that's not fair! I would do it, I always do such things. I sometimes wonder why am I still alive. :) (-) Ray [::: come.to/raynavarra ::: www.mp3.com/ray_navarra ::: www.mp3.com/bard :::] Soon back online: Quite Pet Shop Boys website! Watch this space... Hi fans, You know what, it's spring-time, so come on !!!. I just want to know if someone could told me if there's a book relating Basia career ?. Then, you can go to sleep again... Faf. YOU COULD ask her to dance, much as I would ask Joey Lawrence to dance in the same breath. Now, I COULD also ask Joey Lawrence all those other poignant questions that people want to ask Basia, but I would much rather ask him to dance, but that's a different issue. :-D Ashoke. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 21 Apr 1999 13:04:58 -0700 (PDT) From: Leslie Brown Subject: Re: One Question... > Could I please design your next album cover or > video??? Yeah, we're starting to get buds on the trees here (Michigan). Makes ya feel good to be alive. Also reminds me there is life outside Adobe menu options (LOL!) > I just want to know if someone could told me if > there's a book relating > Basia career ?. Then, you can go to sleep again... No. But there are some good writeups in a couple of books- in English - that are pretty well-informed: Jazz: The Rough Guide has a nifty write up on Basia with a different perspective than a States writer has (it's British), the writer looks at her work from an almost-jazz perspective, giving it some credit musically instead of saying ,"what is this supposed to be?" Kinda nice for a change. Also the Music Hound Guide to Rock & Pop as well as the Music Hound Guide to Lounge (!) have really good write-ups as well. Just on music, mind you. :) For the personal stuff you have to look at Ray's interviews Being on this list is better than any book, ya know! (hee!) > P.S : Take heart, Leslie !!. Thanks! - --Leslie (waiting in line for my &%$@ graduation slide! Grr!) _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
