(Oh, I don't mean to brag.) And, of course, I fully expect that those of us on the list who are in or willing to come to Chicago should meet and attend the show together. BasiaCon Chicago! The had >another woman sing her part. So find a European version. What the hell is up with this? :) Sheesh- seems like every other copy of WSAYO has some different version of something. I have the US vinyl (still in the wrapper-til I opened it!), the US cassette and the German CD, and let me tell ya! The vinyl & cassette (anybody want to buy a slightly used MB tape? LMK privately) are the real deal, but the CD has not only the weirdo 'More Than I Can Bear,' it has another version of "Matt's Mood" that bumps up the percussion and deletes some synth altogether, and the version of "Half A Minute" doesn't have Peter's groovy little riff. Never mind that the Matt Bianco 'Best of' has another friggin' version of "More Than I Can Bear," and a 1990 rerecorded "Matt's Mood." (Oh, and a 'Half A Minute" that adds another drum break) Got all that? Anyway, I think the whole thing is pretty ridiculus. I have all the actual original tracks with all these sources combined so I'm happy, but whatever possessed these people is beyond me! - --Leslie Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 23 Mar 1999 11:45:06 PST From: "Leslie Brown" Subject: Re: PW London gig >That gig of Peter White's in London England will not only have Danny White >as keyboardist, and Chris Margary as saxophonist, but he will also have a >trumpeter named Kevin Robinson... > >:) Kevin who? *ducking flying objects* >Hope you can go! I *think* this is the one that people used to consider the "really out-there version". It's not *really* "out there" (in my opinion, anyway), but it is markedly different. Depending upon how long your ISP's server retains binaries, you may still be able to find it in that newsgroup. Alternately, I'd be happy to post it again, if necessary. - -Kevin soundman@inetarena.com ------------------------------ End of basia-digest V4 #74 **************************
