Yes, Jim, I'd say you have been watching too much TV. But thanks for the laugh. Why don't you hook up your CD player to your VCR and make a "Prime Time TV" music video based on this "commercial?" A friend of mine does this sort of thing with Japanese animation all the time. - -Brian* ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 25 Feb 1999 19:22:41 EST From: JPovlock@aol.com Subject: Waters of March I know I'm outnumbered on Waters of March. But now even my sister is rubbing it in my face. She is also a Basiaholic, in fact resembles our hero quite a bit. It must be those Polish genes. If you have the Time and Tide music book, look at page three, with Basia leaning forward on her elbows, and that's my little sis. Anyway, I sent her my tape of Art Garfunkle's version of the song. Here is what she sent me back in return: "I can see why you don't like "Waters of March. YUCK!! And I thought I couldn't carry a tune. This guy really sucks. I cannot say enough bad things about this tune. On the other hand, I cannot say enough good things about Basia's version. It gave me chills, really." Well, maybe I should go back and listen to it a few times in a row. I can't be that wrong, can I?? Jim P. ------------------------------ End of basia-digest V4 #52 **************************
