Back on January 18th, Ray wrote: >Picky Meg told me that... >> Ray, dear, I want to be just a TEENSY bit picky about >> your post yesterday: >Oooh! OK, but please don't be too hard on my small brain. ;) Since I am sooooo far behind on reading my Basia mail (just now reading Jan 18th!!), I unfortunately didn't see the original posts from Ray, Meg or Leslie, but I wanted to make some quick comments. Meg, thanks for being a "teensy bit picky" since I wasn't around to see Ray's little name mix up. It was very nice of you to correct the error. >> It was soft-spoken Jackie who drove 45 minutes EACH WAY >> in the snow to join us at Club Isabel in Cleveland Heights, >> not Leslie (who straightened that out in a subsequent post). >> Although we would have LOVED to meet Leslie, too. First of all, I have to correct something that other Cleveland Convention members have said in relation to my commute to Club Isabella. My trip wasn't quite 45 mins. It was more like 30 minutes. lol. Although 45 mins sounds much more dramatic, it was not quite that long. But, it WAS snowing. lol. Plus I love driving and also certainly wouldn't have missed the Convention. :o) It was great to have met Richard, Meg, Ashoke and Joe, even though it was only for 15 mintues. This was the first time I ever met them, but it seemed like I knew and had met them all before (other than from reading their posts to the Basia list) >> Hope all is well with you Jackie! Thanks Meg. I am doing good. Anxiously awaiting Spring and the warmer temperatures, green grass and flowers that come along with it. I hope all is well with you also. > Sorry Jackie! (in case you read this) I didn't want to exclude > you, that's for sure. :D I have read it, although a bit late. And don't worry about the name mix up, it was no problem. :o) Jackie ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 15 Feb 1999 00:05:33 -0600 From: Robin Subject: Re: Bios and the like... Ashoke S. Ashoke, please don't "publish" my whole bio if all you wanted was a couple of lines. It seems that I do get carried away at times when I talk about myself. :-D > > Joanna, I don't have a picture of you. Can you scan one or send me one? Better yet, why don't you take a picture of her yourself while in CA?? > Just trying to make my contribution to the site. BTW, the more I listen to Basia the more I like her - and the more I listen to this site the more I learn!! Happy Valentine's Day!!
