Actually, I ended up cheating and using broadcast.com to connect me to a jazz station, in this case KTNT out of Oklahoma City and in the half hour or so I was listening -- lo and behold the deejay says, "coming up, Basia, Peter White....". And after the commercial break there was Clear Horizon. Even though I've nearly played the CD to death, it was such a buzz to hear it on the radio. -- Beverly Martin ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 02 Feb 1999 10:06:35 -0600 From: Beverly Martin Subject: Also while at Broadcast.com I did a search on their CD jukebox for "Basia" and got this: Someplace In Time, Bev Jester: Listen to the CD on broadcast.com Jester's lyrics explore experiences in love, loss and reincarnation in a way that makes you feel you are reading an open letter. Her influences include Sting, Steely Dan, Basia, Bobby Caldwell, and Joni Mitchell. [2/2/99] WOW! Some one who says one of her influences is our dear Basia, I took a listen to her and I like what I heard -- however I may have to order it online as my local music stores are like "who?" Take a listen if you are so disposed, a pleasant day to all of you! -- Beverly Martin ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 02 Feb 1999 11:27:53 PST From: "Leslie Brown" Subject: Re: I finally get to hear Clear Horizon on the radio! > And after the commercial break there was Clear Horizon.
