It was absolutely great. There was lots of energy, people sing and dancing in the aisle. Unlike most concerts where each artist performs and moves off stage, this was different. There all played together but each artist was featured. Peter was really super, David Koz, was the MC because of his magnetic personality. David Benoit was also great. I believe he is one of the best piano artists featured today. Peter's cut, Midnight in Manhattan was anounced as the number one Smooth Jazz recording. I can't begin to tell you how much of a ride the concert was. The best part was that I got to speak with Peter after the show and he actually did remember me from the Internet. He said he had not seen or heard Basia's new CD. I guess touring can be hectic. He and the group had done 18 shows for this tour with one more to go in Conn this evening. The concert was at Westbury Music fair in Long Island. It was really enjoyable. Well I can't wait for Basia to tour. Well that's it for now from Long Island New York. But I will get to see Peter and Richard Elliott on Dec. 28th at the Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth - best yet I have seats in the 3rd row. Can't wait. Would have liked to have seen the Smooth Jazz Christmas tho. Merry Christmas to all Basia fans....
