Yet again, the folks at Epic Japan are on the ball!!  Still nothing on the
US site besides the one update -- not even listed in the new albums
releasing today or tomorrow....!

Also still nothing in the press area either -- we all need to keep our eyes
peeled for her -- her usual haunts were Letterman and Leno (how I wish
Arsenio was still in the game she would have been his cohost by now! <g>).
If anyone sees an upcoming appearance, lemme know -- I'll have my VCR up hot
and running!!!

Kevin, have you been able to determine whether the Japanese page mentions
any press???  It's

Speaking of press, how pleasantly surprised I was this weekend to see 
that Basia was included in an article in the Oakland Press (Oakland 
County, MI) about the almost-mythical November 17. Granted, it was 
something to the effect of "Also notable are greatest hits collections 
by Basia, Earth Wind and Fire, .... " but still! It's those little 
things that mean so much <g>.

Last night I was Barnes & Nobling when I ran into the Virgin Guide to 
Eighties Music. Being a British issue and the Eighties and all, my first 
thought was to look for Matt Bianco (Basia wasn't listed) and there was 
an interesting little tidbit included within. They claim that due to 
Danny White's contractual obligations (they implied there was 
contractual problems with him leaving Matt Bianco) the songs they came 
up with for T&T had to come out under 'Basia' instead of, say, another 
group name. Interesting, but they gave Basia's birth year as 1954, so 
who knows how accurate they can be. ^_^  Just putting forth the info, I 
am! 

Also, according to the book Jazz: The Rough Guide, Ronnie Ross passed 
away in 1991.

I joined the Yahoo club, but I use the college labs to do all my email. 
Well, regardless of whether or not I am logged in to Yahoo Mail, every 
computer I've been on shows my club information! I really don't want 
anyone to be in my business, so do any of you know how to turn the club 
list service off? Just wondering before I unjoin.

To the best of my knowledge Yahoo uses your Yahoo ID to determine the 
information they list. You probably need to select "sign-out" on your 
"My Yahoo" screen (usually the option is in the top right corner of 
their screens) but this will also eliminate any custom news, etc. you 
have set up under that ID.
Or, if you still want to maintain the other custom information you've 
set up but not show the club, 1) delete yourself from the club under 
your current ID, 2) create a new Yahoo ID, 3) rejoin the club under the 
new ID. Then the club SHOULD only show when you are signed on under the 
new ID. Your current ID should look the same as it did.

Hi, this is Kevin, the compiler of the discography... Bev Martin and I
are about to put the finishing touches on a real HTML version of the
document, and it should be back up in the next couple of days (I'm
currently holding up Bev with a couple of last-minute changes, that I
haven't had the chance to send to her yet... so don't blame her!!!!  See
Beej-- you're off the hook!)

Anyway-- that's why the link is down for the moment... but I think
you'll like the changes we've wrought!
