Hold the phone. What's this about Basia having a child?! I think I missed something. Could someone please direct me to the interview that piece of information was taken from? So "Perfect Mother" was autobiographical, then? "People say, 'She's too young,' / Should a child have a child." I always assumed it had something to do with someone she met in her homeland during the time between LWNY and Sweetest Illusion. Interesting. By the way, after I came to Japan, I bought a copy of the "Angels Blush" single. The title track didn't impress me, but then I only like Christmas songs at Christmas time, so I'll try listening to it in December. "Waters of March," on the other hand was awesome. If Basia can only release original material every four or five years, it would be nice if she'd do a CD of Brazilian songs or something to bridge the gap. - -Brian* P.S.- (Apologies to Jeff Wasilko, but) Hey, Roach! Where's my stuff, man!?! ------------------------------ End of basia-digest V3 #227 ***************************
