I'm really knocked out with the news that there is a Basia boot out there. I would love a copy. Is anyone here familiar with a tape tree? Why don't we tree it? I'll even volunteer to administer it if Kevin will give me a seed. What do you think? - -=[ Tim ]=- ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 12 Sep 1998 18:54:23 EDT From: RonCB1@aol.com Subject: Re: Basia boot... I'd love one. Let me know if it gets started. How does it work though? ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 13 Sep 1998 00:03:57 EDT From: Mikep3099@aol.com Subject: Re: basia-digest V3 #195 Hello all, OK so where does this version of More Than I Can Bear appear besides on this boot? I have the Euro CD of WSAYO and it has a version sung by Mark. I think that I also have a CD single with a different version also sung by Mark R. Is this Basia version vinyl only? If not, where has it been issued on CD? Also, while I'm at it, does anyone have the Yearning or Half A Minute Japanese or Euro CD singles? What are the tarck listing on these? I also know that the was a CD single Time And Tide (BoB version) released in Japan with live tracks on on the album. Are there other exclusive live tracks on the Half a Minute CD single from BoB? Does anyone have a more complete discography that the old one of Roach's that Ben has on his site? And lastly, pleaase let us all know if there is still an outlet for this boot. I'm not asking for sales to take place on the list just let us know if there is any hope of finding a copy. The lineup includes: Me & Mr. Sanchez (club re-mix) More Than I Can Bear (original WSAYO version, with Basia's vocals) Promises (Samba House re-mix) All 5 live tracks from the ESK-1276 promo Baby You're Mine (street version) Third Time Lucky (instrumental) Angels Blush Waters of March ... and various interview snippets along with a few other re-mix tracks largely unavailable in the US. The quality is excellent, overall, with the only surface noise popping up on the "Promises" re-mix-- even there it's not intrusive, just a little noticeable. Most tracks are obviously cloned from CDs. >> ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 13 Sep 1998 00:03:55 EDT From: Mikep3099@aol.com Subject: Re: basia-digest V3 #195 Hello all, OK so where does this version of More Than I Can Bear appear besides on this boot?
