Well, I didn't mean to fan a brush fire... but I think I did-- DISCLAIMER: **The following is for informational purposes only** I got my copy from a friend in Japan, though I hasten to say that I don't know for a fact that it's produced there-- the disc appears to be a very limited-run CDR, with color graphics (the front of the booklet is an alternate photo from the LWNY session) and a design label. The lineup includes: Me & Mr. Sanchez (club re-mix) More Than I Can Bear (original WSAYO version, with Basia's vocals) Promises (Samba House re-mix) All 5 live tracks from the ESK-1276 promo Baby You're Mine (street version) Third Time Lucky (instrumental) Angels Blush Waters of March ... and various interview snippets along with a few other re-mix tracks largely unavailable in the US. The quality is excellent, overall, with the only surface noise popping up on the "Promises" re-mix-- even there it's not intrusive, just a little noticeable. Most tracks are obviously cloned from CDs. Now, in deference to Jeff's stated wishes to leave this list a non-commercial entity (and, of course, in order to comply with various international copyright conventions that say "Bootlegging Is Wrong"-- something I'm sure we all agree with...) that's about all that can be said **publicly** about the disc. - -Kevin soundmn1@gte.net (As always, I welcome private communications regarding the discussion topics that we cover on the list...) ------------------------------ End of basia-digest V3 #195 ***************************
