Bob, I listen to BBC Radio 2 in the UK which is on 89.9 FM. Mostly I listen to the Sarah Kennedy / Terry Wogan breakfast shows in the car on my way to work. They usually play 'Third Time Lucky' at least once a week, in fact it was this show that actually prompted me to buy my first Basia album from Music Boulevard after having been a Matt Bianco fan for a number of years. I still think 'Whose Side Are You On?' was their best album, I guess mainly because of Basia!! Anyway, the first album I bought was 'The Sweetest Illusion' (because it had 'Third Time Lucky' on) and then I kind of worked backwards from there. I seem to remember they played 'Prime Time TV on the radio a lot when it first came out over here, which was how I first found out Basia had gone solo, but whilst I always MEANT to search out some of her music, years went by and I never really did anything about it, until the internet came along...... Bob, I have been listening to the Women of Jazz this weekend, however, I did not hear that cut by Basia. It was a matter of minutes that I missed it. However I hope they are correct. They usually get the word before we do. Maybe Dianne F or Peter White can confirm the prediction. I just bought Peter White's album Caravan of Dreams--very well done--and I am looking for some tabulature for his music. More specifically, Just Another Day, City of Lights, and Lullabye. So, if anyone knows where I might find some....that would be excellent. Thank you very much! - -kari ------------------------------ End of basia-digest V3 #178 ***************************
