["Stelmar, Kimberly" ] new Basia album rumours [combee@techwood.org (Ben Combee)] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: Mon, 4 May 1998 14:12:08 -0500 From: "George Woods" Subject: new album / video Hi to all... This is my first message to this list, I hope I don't mess it up. I've been listening to Basia since 1986 or so. I found out about her while I was working on a computer in this guy's office. He had Time & Tide playing in the background. It was one of those deals where you really don't hear it because your busy, but all of a sudden you find your self moving to the beat. I finally stopped and ask him who in the WORLD!!! was singing that music!!! I've always walked to a different beat and she was singing to it! So to this day, every time I listen to Basia, its as fresh as the first time I heard her. As to her new album, I can't wait untill it comes out. On another note, how's the video coming along? I definitely want to order a copy when it's ready! Thanks George ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 4 May 1998 14:26:11 -0500 From: "Stelmar, Kimberly" Subject: new album??? Hi all... i lost my email for about 2 months, ... what is this about a new album??? i need to be back in the loop!!! DETAILS PLEASE! kimi :) ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 4 May 1998 23:32:44 GMT From: combee@techwood.org (Ben Combee) Subject: new Basia album rumours OK, here is a summary of what has been reported on the list: Danny and Basia are working on new material, but the pace has been very slow, and Danny has had several distractions (getting married, having a baby, so on). There was one new Basia track in 1997, her "Just Another Day" song on Peter White's album, _Caravan of Days_. So, 1998 looks unlikely, but 1999 isn't out the window. Keep the faith! - -- Benjamin L.
