Fisli" Subject: Peter White Mailing List??? Hi everyone! Here's a loaded question - I have been approached by several people who have expressed an interest in having a Peter White Mailing List (similar to this mailing list). So I was wondering if there would be any interest from any of the people who post or lurk here. You don't have to post on the list, you can email me privately with your answers. :) Thanks! Of course you all know MY suggestion as to what kind of music to listen to if not listening to Basia - I like Peter White... :) I am a mite biased (I can name that tune in ONE NOTE!) (heh!), tho there are some SIGNATURE guitar lines that one cannot ignore. Peter White's guitar (and accordion!) has been a part of Basia's sound since Matt Bianco and "Half A Minute". BTW, I hope to be able to soon send a small donation to the smoe.org for their new servers... It's been really nice to have such a good home for us Basiamaniacs (HA!) and I'd be pleased to help. I'm wondering which one(s) to get next. Also, please let me know where to buy her harder-to-get CD's if you have any suggestions. As for where I live, I'm kind of a nomad. I currently have apartments in a couple of Florida cities (Jacksonville and Cocoa Beach), but my company is based in Novato, CA (just north of SF), and I work on software projects all over the country, primarily in the SouthEast. BTW, Are there any Kate St. John / D.A. fans on this list? - --Bob > -----Original Message----- > From: Steve Mak [SMTP:stevemak@worldnet.att.net] > Sent: Thursday, April 09, 1998 12:18 AM > To: basia@smoe.org > Subject: RE: Isabelle Antena > > Hi Robert, > I am Steve. Carpe Diem, La Mer de l'ete, Intemporelle, L'Alphabet du Plaisir, Encore plus au Sud, Camino del sol. to name a few. Have you seen her live before? If you like, I can make you a tape of all my favorites Isabelle songs and send it to you. May be we can hook up when you are in the Northern California area. Her CDs are very rare, find them in good used record stores or get them in Japan where it is quite easy to get there. Cheers!
