He IS ok. Roach has been on this list... since what?... "Day 2" Ben? I've been here 2 or 3 years and he was here long before I was. Roach is pretty much the glue of this list... he's what keeps us together. If you'll notice, there's not much talking going on except for the "where's our stuff?" thread... and Roach isn't around. Coincidence? I think not. He's the one that can keep on coming up with new subjects to talk about when the rest of us can't. When he went to Australia for a few months, you could hear a pin drop around here. I know it makes you wonder where your stuff is when you sent in the money awhile ago, and you really can't know a person over the internet, but take it from some of us that have been on the list awhile... you'll get your stuff. He's just slow about it for some reason. I bought a CD from him once... I think it took 2 months (?) to get it. But it was also returned to him from the USPS for some reason. If it's a question of his honesty, don't worry about that... I have no doubt that he's loyal to the list. You'll get your stuff... it might be frustrating because it's taking longer than you thought...but you'll get it. Jacki ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 22 Mar 1998 10:16:09 -0500 From: "J. He posted two weeks ago that the last shipments had gone out and, in an e-mail I received shortly thereafter, he asked me if I had received mine yet. I felt like he thought I should have. So I thought my stuff might have been lost by the post office. (It wouldn't be the first time.) Since everyone else seems to still be waiting, I assume that means that Roach just opted for a really slow shipping rate. - -Brian* ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 22 Mar 1998 12:49:30 -0500 From: Jeff Hamilton Subject: Unsubscribing >From the message headers: X-To-Unsubscribe: Send mail to "basia-request@smoe.org" X-To-Unsubscribe: with "unsubscribe" as the body.
