I have yet to hear from him either... Might this be >what our mothers warned us of? > Michael (also in Dallas - is this a trend?) Hi. I'm also in Dallas (Well, Arlington, actually.) and also still waiting. Based on his earlier posts, Mr. Lohr started shipping packages about four weeks ago and finished up about two weeks ago. If he used one of the cheaper shipping methods, it might take a few weeks. I e-mailed him myself yesterday, but haven't got a reply yet. I feel better knowing that Ben thinks he's okay, but I'd really like to hear from someone on the list who HAS received their shipment. - -Brian* > >Has anybody received the items they ordered from js Lohr? > >I ordered two discs, and paid for them Feb. 1st, and haven't >received > >them, nor a response to an email I sent him. > >It has now been six weeks. > >Any feedback? > >Bill in Dallas ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 19 Mar 1998 00:42:17 -0800 From: "Diane F. Good luck with the drawing - That's the Maui Jazz Festival (May 24th is the day Peter is there) they're advertising, and there are some really great performers slated (Rick Braun, Brian Culbertson, Boney James...)! I'd love to go, so if you win, take me, will you? ;) Peter is set to go to England for a week to visit - I'll see if he can't pry some info out of Danny on what's going on with the new album project for Basia... Firstly, I just noticed today that on the web page a Brazilian version of On Broadway is mentioned on the web page. It states that it contains Waters Of March. My question is, is this the studio version as it appears on the Japanese Angels Blush single tacked on as a bonus track or is it an actual live performance? Also, does anyone know how to get this? CD Banzi and CD Europe don't seem to list it anymore. Secondly, about a couple of later singles. Does any one have or have the track lists for the Euro or Japanese CD singles to Yearning or Half a Minute? Do these feature any new or unique material? Do either of them have live tracks not on the On Broadway CD? A track list of either of both of these would be appreciated. Also, if anyone knows where I could still get copies or would be willing to part with theirs please let me know. I am also looking for a copy of the Japanese Time And Tide Live CD single with the tracks not found on the On Broadway CD. Any help would be apprecited. This brings me to the discussion about Roach. I was a little late getting my offers in to him and consequently missed out on the items that I was interested in. I wrote him back on a couple of occassions after the bidding had slowed to offer to take the items that I was interested in if the original bidder didn't come through. He certainly could have written back and said that they hadn't and asked for me to send funds for these items. He didn't though. I think that he will come through for those that had winning bids and sent money. He is just not being real spedy about it. It seems ike I rmember him posting to explain his absence and that he would be sending stuff out asap just a few days ago. I hope that he will fulfill all of your deals. Thanks for any help re. the above in advance and for reading. Peace, Mike ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 19 Mar 1998 08:56:14 -0600 From: Beverly Martin Subject: Re: basia-digest V3 #45 Diane F. Oh yes!!!!!!!!!! That would be delightful for us all. I was watching my laser disk just the other day thinking how I'd love to know how things are going on the latest album -- for which I'm praying there is a U.S. tour since I was non-net connected the last tours she had and I'd always hear about her appearances *while* she was doing them.
