We already had contact when I offered help to convert your files to PAL (which you didn't need) and now I tell you that you can count me in as a branch on a tree for CDR copying (I've got a 6x2 Yamaha CDR drive). CD-R's use a special dye rather than a stamped metalic layer, but most CD-ROM and CD Audio drives can handle them. The video files would be in MPEG-1 format which is playable by UNIX, Macintosh, and Windows boxes. - -- Benjamin L. Well, I just did a count based on the subscriber list from majordomo@smoe.org, and the list is currently 120 members strong. Based on recent postings, there are about 20 active posters, so that's a 5:1 ratio of lurkers to non-lurkers. Looking at the addresses, we've got lots of fans from AOL, a smattering from most of the countries of Europe, a few people at American colleges and universities, and representatives of many of the world's largest companies. - -- Benjamin L. Been really enjoying Peter White as i wait for the next Basia CD......I very much enjoyed PW's sax player, Greg Vail, when they came here. Caravan of Dreams (home of "Just Another Day") & Songs of the Season ("River"... A Triumph) by Peter and E motions by Greg are filling in my waiting period very well....... Please sign me up for a CDRom when it's ready. And a happy new year to all of you all over the place who have such excellent taste in music........tmike ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 11 Jan 1998 20:19:26 -0600 From: Brian Cundieff Subject: RE: Basia video project: status update I'd love to have both formats and am willing to pay whatever it takes, within reason.
