Nope, Fripp taught Al Stewart a few lessons of guitar. Peter pretty much taught himself and learned to play simple chords by experimenting and listening with one ear glued to the radio. Later on he moved to listening to albums and experimenting and playing along... Never thought I'd be discussing Al Stewart on the Basia mailing list. :) Mike, I am still listening to PW's Xmas album - I think it'll be something to be able to listen to all year 'round! (yes, car-car is still rumblin' along!) Don, glad you had a great time at the show - I was wishing I could have made it to the Caravan Of Dreams - since I've never been there - perhaps one day! Ed, that was a lovely thought to share about servicemen and women and their families and extended families... It's a nice thing to be able to share like this over the internet - meeting people we might not have ever met before and discussing things we have in common - and things that we might not otherwise have thought about... Thanks... :) back to work now! TTFN! --Di.
