What a very sad day in deed if this is correct. Here I sit in Dallas looking forward to the next CD and the next concert. Samurai27 wrote: > > No she does not. The cd is very good though. This is real slow even for Basia. I asked Peter White he knows her well and he says she is very slow in her desire to make new songs. If you have read anything that she has said about her self or viewed her video, she sings because "Basia always sung" as a child she must have always sung socially but I am not sure she really truly enjoys it the way most artists do. She tell about how she started singing. She was asked to participate in a talent show. She then says she did not actually participate but was asked to sing with the group. I don't believe she ever really got over her stage fright. I believe she does not have a confort level with fame. She is a great and talented writer and singer and I can't get enought of her. The but is I don't really believe she will be back and it makes me very sad. She revels in the on stage experience, but when it comes to creating material, well, there is a lot of "stop tape and crying". Too picky with the final product. She must be hell to work with, always sobbing. We love her; we love her music. She hates herself, hates the process, but, believe me, when she's on stage she LOVES EVERYTHING. Which is why I have forever advocated she take a break and do a tribute to Ethel Merman or someone she might admire and just go with it....you know, SHOW BIZ! Entertainment, fer crying out loud. It should be just a job for her by now. What is it, a decade since the release of T&T? Just let Danny tinkle the ivories, and it should be a given. I'll buy anything she releases, here's my VISA #............ I have sent her two letters without any response. I have all four of her cds the Peter White cd with Basia singing on it and her video as well. Are you from Poland? I was wondering why you wanted to discuss other Polish singers. I am Polish American. My grandparents came from Lublin in 1914 and lived in America for over 65 years. I have sent Peter White (Danny's brother) emails and he does send you back responses. He has done it at least four times. He has his own web page. Peter has played on most of Basia's cds. he is great. Well as you can see there is other people out there.
