Hi. The song Olive Tree is basia singing damn near her best. I have listened too this song a million times and understand its time signature. However the best part of this song is when she sings "This time I wanted this to be true". Now the first time she sings this phrase it is kind of blah, and the THIRD time she sings this phrase it contains many harmony parts and the word TRUE is not quite on pitch, but the second time she sings this phrase (maybe two minutes into the piece) she totally nails it. Now, why do I like basia. I like Basia because she Likes the man formerly known as Prince. And prince is a genius. So Basia is a genius. And i like Basia because she likes Donald Fagens' "The Night Fly" And that is a great record. And I like Basia because someday maybe I could play bass or guitar in her band for free, I would show up at a gig, all rehersed, pay all my own expenses and leave. And i like Basia because I collect Basia stuff, I have a bunch of basia records, roach has some he was going to sell me in march "remember". I'm always looking for that elusive 10" english vinal.
