Precedence: bulk Status: U X-Mozilla-Status: 0001 Two Quick Questions to all Basia fans: Has Basia ever recorded the Brasilian song, "Dindi?" If she has, when? Next question: Who or what is, "Dindi?" Thanks for the volume of Basia concerns I've been getting over the past few months. I fell in love with her music (and her) when I was stationed at Governors Island, New York, NY with the U. S. Coast Guard. A fantastic artist of whom little is known and outside her devoted fans, almost never heard of. I have the album. I think it is just a term of endearment or nickname for a loved one. I might be wrong. It would be a great song for Basia to cover. She could do a whole album of Antonio Carlos Jobim songs. Sorry but thats all I know about the song. I need to have the network equipment there to test the connection. The downtime will start around 7am (east coast time) and we should be back on the net between noon and 5pm, depending on when the installer shows up. Please don't post "why isn't my mail getting thru" messages over and over on Thursday. Any mail sent to smoe.org will be held at my ISP's mail servers and will be delivered once our network connection is back up. Keep in mind that mail delivery will probably be quite slow on Thursday and part of Friday as we recover from the mail backlog. - -Jeff ------------------------------ End of basia-digest V2 #153 ***************************
