Info, including lyrics from all her discs, is on BasiaWeb (http://basia.techwood.org/). The 24K version of T&T is a remastered version with an additional track (Forgive & Forget). The sound quality is better, but if you have Brave New Hope, you already have the new song. - -- Benjamin L. You guys have some common geographic ties... "Time and Tide" was the first song I liked, but "Promises" really nailed it for me. I think I was hooked in 1987 or 1988. Kevin Segura here (sometimes known as "soundman"-- or "Joel Cairo", if the mood strikes me :^) ). Portland, Oregon is the city-- we're just here keeping the West Coast safe for democracy and gorgeous Polish singers. I first heard Basia in 1988, and was immediately hooked by the "Time & Tide" single... then went out, bought the CD, and REALLY lost it... Since that time, I've had the opportunity to miss at least 3 of her concerts, and have managed to do so each time-- much to my everlasting dismay. The most frustrating miss came in 1994, when I was actually in Japan as the 'Sweetest Illusion' tour and CD were being kicked off-- the Japanese market being VERY receptive of her talents-- and she played a number of dates in the country, which I simply could NOT (for the life of me) break away to see. Imagine traveling thousands of miles from your home, having Basia 600 miles away, AND NOT BEING ABLE TO GO!!!!! AARGH!!! There. Much better now. Anyway, I've sworn a vow that I'll catch her the next time through, as long as she's somewhere on the same continent as I am (and maybe even if she's not-- I never need an excuse to head off to Tokyo)... at least I managed to pick up all of the Best Remixes and assorted singles while I was there... So that's my story. I fell in with these folks when I finally picked up a PC in early 1996, and have been happily eavesdropping ever since.
