I am in the process of buying a modem for my mac at home so very soon so i can spend a little more time chatting with you all. I have not spoken up for months on this list because my father passed away and I have been ever so sad about it. But I am coming around and feeling a little better now. Anyway, I have a letter basia wrote me in 1989 I was going to share with you and some other related iteams that somebody might find amusing. Also, remember to call your parents and tell them that you love them...... I achieved the pinnacle of success on 1 August 1990 when I received my commission in the U. S. Coast Guard after 16 years of service to the nation. One month later, my father died never having seen me in the uniform of an officer.
