(Heh!) I was with a friend in a restaurant on Monday of this past week, and heard "Reward" - put a smile on MY face... :) Beverly wrote: > However, when I was in San Antonio last month, I found a great station >that just about makes it signal to my town on good nights... and I do >hear Basia and Peter -- otherwise if I wanna hear 'em, I engage my 6-CD >player and enjoy! Yes, I forget the call letters, but David Munoz has a great jazz program there. I met him while in San Antonio to visit my mother (and coincidentally to see the SI Basia performance at the Civic Auditorium)... Oddly enough, your story sounds like my friend from San Antonio who has to drive towards Austin each weekend if she wants to get the syndicated JazzTrax program... So how far has anyone traveled to see a Basia concert??? My trip to San Antonio from Los Angeles JUST HAPPENED to conveniently be when Basia was in the land of the Alamo... So I just couldn't pass it up... :) TTFN! --Di. A Cheese Whiz is a photographer who can get people to say "Cheese!" in twenty different languages!
