Diane, i just called the number to check out the tour. Nice job! Hmmm, May 29th here in Austin. I think I should be able to make it. If you've never been to the Paramount, its a beautiful restored movie palace with a nice stage area. During the summer, they run a classic movie series that I like -- I got to see several Bond films, Casablanca, and more last year. > There will be... They've worked on it... HONEST... (Diane keeping up the > optomism as per usual) I'm sure she'll have a new album out before too long. It just can't be over! BTW, I'm doing a little structural updating on BasiaWeb over the next day or two. I'm enhancing the pages using CSS style sheets, plus I'll be adding a Freeloaded description file so you can have the most recent contents delivered to you automatically. No, but I've heard it twice while grocery shopping. Always puts a smile on my face to hear Basia while I'm squeezing tomatoes. ;-) (sorry, Nicholas!) Hi Di! - --Rick ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 09 May 1997 12:08:26 -0500 From: Beverly Martin Subject: Getting to hear Peter or Basia I don't even have a mellow/jazz station in my lil shanty town of Coprus Christi -- we did have one (in fact the one that turned me onto Basia with Time and Tide oh those many years ago) -- but it went country (bleah). However, when I was in San Antonio last month, I found a great station that just about makes it signal to my town on good nights... and I do hear Basia and Peter -- otherwise if I wanna hear 'em, I engage my 6-CD player and enjoy! Beej hoping to see Peter in CC at Guitars, Saxes and More (can't get off from work....arrgh!) Another arrgh: our only "Progressive Adult" station WON'T play Basia or Peter -- they play Estefan, Sade and (ugh) Bolton... but I've tried repeatedly for Basia...
