(Frankly I prefer Steve Chapman's voice, but hey, they asked me to do it, so what the heck!) (HA!) If anyone has been keeping up with Peter's tour dates with the Guitars Saxes and More show, there has been a venue change in Austin TX for 5-29. The show is not at La Zona Rosa, it's at the Paramount Theatre. Poor Peter, he'll be on tour in September when Danny gets married. Oh well... I understand Peter's "Just Another Day" (featuring Basia on vocals!) has had some crossover traffic onto pop radio stations... Has anyone heard it on a non-"smooth jazz" radio station??? Hope all is well with everyone - it is hot as the blazes here in Southern California, which means poor air quality, and the distinct possibility of an earthquake. Maybe it should be a full time gig for you. I was disappointed again, though. No mention of Buffalo... Now that we have no longer have a "Smooth Jazz" station here, I guess there's little hope of him playing here - except for the triumphant final tour of Basia in 1999, that is. > Poor Peter, he'll be on tour in September when Danny gets married. Oh well. > What? He won't be in a recording session for M'Lady's next (read: final) album? Bummer! Truthfully, I'm of the opinion that with Danny tying up his personal life, there may not even be another album. (Look, Roach isn't around so somebody has to keep the pessimism at a proper level.) > I understand Peter's "Just Another Day" (featuring Basia on vocals!) has had > some crossover traffic onto pop radio stations... We're cool here - literally. Another beautiful Great Lakes spring. Another hockey season winding down. Summer is around the corner. All's right with the world. Gosh, this list is sure quiet lately. How about it, all you lurkers out there? Best, Dennis - ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Dennis J.
