Ok, for those of you out there who can't quite grasp the concept, here it is: The next IRC chat will be on Monday, February 3rd, at 9pm EST at irc.stealth.net, port 6667, channel #basia. For those of you getting confused about the time breakdowns, here it is as plain as I can make it: Here are the various times: Florida= 9pm California= 6pm UK= 2am Japan= 11am (Tuesday) Now, for those folks out there (especially the ones in Europe) who can't make it at this time, here's a possible solution to your problem - why don't we, after this week, make the regular times SUNDAY AFTERNOONS instead of MONDAY EVENINGS. Sunday at about 2pm EST means that it'll only be 7pm in the UK. That'll do it for now. Toodles! Well, for those of us not in (north) america, it makes a lot more sense. We here in Sydney are +10 GMT, so if we got together on IRC it would be a bit less hassle figuring out the time differences if UTC was the go! The Sunday afternoon time sounds good. It would be only fair to include our European friends, too. However, that makes it 5AM in Australia. Oh well, we need a smaller world!
