Those folks scare me. That's why I left them and got a real ISP. Well, I did manage to download it this morning and it was worth the download time. The audio quality is superb. And the kicker is that now I recognize the song. I positively heard other people do the song in the past (I'm talking probably 20-25 years ago.) It's a good tune, though she seems more suited to her own compositions. Roach is right about not being able to understand very much of the lyrics. The reason for my posting is that today I went to JR records in downtown NY and was just as usual cruising. They were playing a new album called REDHOT & RIO. As I was looking through the various records, the various tracks came up. Such as Corcovado by Everything but the Girl, The Boy from Ipanema by Crystal Waters, How Intensive by Antionio Carlos Jobin & Sting. As the next track came on, I just stood there in utter amazement. What was it. Well it was WATERS OF MARCH, however it was being sung by David Bryne & Marisa Monte. Well had to buy the album. Now the mystery has been solved that its the song written by Antonio Carlos Jobin back in 1973. Roach, I do have the lyrics if you would like them let me know. BTW the album itself is very good, and its for a good cause AIDS Awareness. bfn Bob R Paterson NJ May the swartz be with you ------------------------------ End of basia-digest V2 #9 *************************
