One of the earliest urban legends I am aware of is the one where the Trilogy would actually end up being three Trilogies - nine films in all. Never saw Spaceballs, but several other Brooks things - my favorite was Young Frankenstein. > So Cheers to the man in Cheerstown. This one's on me! One of the earliest urban legends I am aware of is the one >where the Trilogy would actually end up being three Trilogies - nine >films in all. I'm not sure if they still intend to do all nine, but Lucasfilm is in fact currently in pre-production on the first movie of the second trilogy. They will be prequels to the Star Wars films and will chronicle the rise of Darth Vader and the Emperor, as well as the young Obi-Wan Kenobi. BTW, starting in February of next year the entire first trilogy will be re-released in theaters, but with remastered prints and computer enhanced special effects that allowed Lucas to make the films look more like he had originally planned, but couldn't because of technological limitations. There is an internet site that has still images of the "Special Edition" of Star Wars, and, a Quicktime movie file of the trailer for the SE that this guy somehow managed to get (much to the displeasure of Lucasfilm). Email me privately if you want it and I'll dig up the URL. And yes, in addition to being a Basia fan, I have been a Star Wars freak since the age of 8. Note to Roach: care to guess what will be completed first - Basia's next studio album, or the entire next Star Wars trilogy? ;) "Conscience is the inner voice which warns us that someone may be looking."
