Well, that's an arguable point - her voice has definitely changed (even if its meant that her sung English has deteriorated for some unknown reason), but I wouldn't swear to it being "better" or "worse" because I think thats a matter of opinion. But - I'll take the old "Half a Minute" over the newer Ben's Phone/Alka-Seltzer mix of "Half a Minute" anyday and twice on Sundays. Let's just hope she doesn't decide to destroy any more Matt Bianco songs in the future (ie Whose Side Are You On '98, featuring Phil Richardson on vocals). Toodles! I think its supposed to be Gloria Estefan and Stevie Wonder. No way, no how, cold day in hell, that kind of thing... Toodles! JSL ------------------------------ From: "J.S. Phil, I'm calling the pigs, because you *ARE ON CRACK*. Where did you get that bullcrud about Basia and Matt Bianco? Hell-o; she has ALWAYS been anorexic (though that kind of term is a bit harsh - she's always been REALLY thin). Take a look at the cover on the US CD Single for "Drunk on Love" - yes, that is a ribcage we see. When I first bought the single, a friend of mine snatched the case from me, glanced at it quickly and remarked: "Hey, check out Karen Carpenter." Yes, I have tasteless friends. Back to Phil's crack problem: HELL-O. Fleeing committments? Floating through relationships? Where the hell is this speculation coming from? Forget crack - Phil must be on LSD. Toodles!
