Don't ask me To forgive and forget I'm not cryin' No marches left No marches left? Is that what it says? Right now this is my favorite song, I've listened to it about 7 times already just reading my email. She can really belt out those tunes when she wants to, can't she? (You go girl!) Damn, where was this song when I broke up with my last boyfriend? And don't y'all dare say the song came out way back in '89 cause I ain't *that* ugly. And Roach... aren't you the one that has the sheet music (books)? Is this song in there? I went to the store today and told them to order me whatever they could get - 3, but I don't want the one because it's too easy (I can use all 10 fingers on the piano now.. practice, practice). If you have a copy and I don't get one, can I weasle one out of you? Jacki Going for #8.... ------------------------------ From: "Dennis J. Is that what it says? Jacki, It sounds to me like "No more tears left". Just don't ask these guy to analyze what it means. ;) BTW, it HAS been out a long time, lady. No offense intended. Actually, it came out in '87...it was a side B to many singles off of TIME AND TIDE. Yup, that's right - its 9 years old. > And Roach... aren't you the one that has the sheet music (books)? If you have a > copy and I don't get one, can I weasle one out of you? No, I don't - I've never been able to track that one down. That one and "Give Me That" have eluded me through the years. I always thought that the lyrics were pretty straightforward for "Forgive and Forget" - it'd always been "Give Me That" that sorta stumped me at times. I mean, the main message of the song is CLEARLY obvious (;D) but some of the lines are kinda garbled. Toodles! I should have clarified -- the listing for this disc in S&S was marked "REISSUE", so this may be around for a while. I'm pretty sure the original laserdisc was also released on this label. I've never heard of Image Entertainment. Perhaps they're some sort of specialty reissue company, ala Resurgence (an example I know you are familiar with, Vince ;). Toodles!
