I offer hope to those of you living in the urban deserts of contemporary jazz. In the Tampa Bay area, our jazz outlet, WSJT-94.1, gives Basia plenty of airtime. She is a monthly favorite on the lunchtime artist spotlight. We even get a fair share of Swing Out Sister. The down side is that there is enough Al Jarreau played to make one go in search of the closest county music station. Here's hoping that 1988 comes soon. - --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - --------------------------------- |Still searching for the sweetest illusion| Bob James 76133.1633@compuserve.com - --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - --------------------------------- ------------------------------ From: "Jeff Hamilton @ Rust Systems" Date: Tue, 4 Jun 1996 01:01:38 -0400 (EDT) Subject: Distance?
