Greetings, folks.
Thanks to Dennis "The Sears Hustler" Majewicz, ;) I was able to get a
hold of a copy of the "Drunk on Love" video. I got about 12 video capture
pics from it and put them up on my homepage at:
http://users.aol.com/basiapage/drunk.htm
(you can also get to them through the "pictures" link).
As for the video itself, its got WONDERFUL picture quality (way to go,
Den!) - kinda corny, and like Dennis said, its got like 100 shots of
Basia with Kevin Robinson.
Check em out soon! The homepage may be going on a temporary week long
hiatus on Tuesday so get to 'em while you can!
Toodles!
JSL.

I ordered the "Run For Cover" 12" from my local music store back when
I was in the 10th grade. I'd call and check on it every two or three
days. It came in a black sleeve and was shrinkwrapped with a small
"Basia: Run For Cover" sticker on it.
I remember finally getting it after about six weeks of waiting,
rushing home, and playing it on the record player, then scratching my
copy by accidentally bumping the needle arm. I was really
hurt... then I went away to debate camp for three weeks, came home,
and found another copy at a different record store!

Jeff,
Just saw the neat job you did with the pics on your homepage.
They really came out well.
I wish I had a way of grabbing stills when I had the laser disk
in my possesion. The video was even better than what you saw on the
VHS tape.
I dubbed Drunk On Love on a Super VHS machine at work. It has the
audio in stereo on the Hi Fi track. How does it sound?
By the way, I got a copy of A New Day on laser disk. I can
actually hear the music in stereo now, since my VCR doesn't have the
Hi Fi option.
